My name is Joanna Whaley, and as a lifelong resident of the Downriver area, I have witnessed the unwavering strength and resilience of the people of Southeast Michigan throughout my life. As both a parent and a clinical spiritual provider in our local hospitals, I deeply understand the critical importance of how we treat one another as a society.
I firmly believe that the citizens of Downriver are dedicated to caring for one another and are willing to unite when justice needs to prevail. In times of challenge, we rise to the occasion and demonstrate our collective leadership.
